You will need to rotate them and lay them flat when placing them.
Ctrl and shift are your friends here. These are done on an alpha plane and will not take up much resources when you load the room.
A great thing if you dislike chatting in slow motion.
Please NOTE: These are only the fish. There may or may not be a conflict with the opacity in the water.
Some opacity maps can cancel each other out. i.e. hair and skirts disappearing when viewed through the water or a window.
If this happens, lay them flat on top of the water as close as you can get it.
It should solve any potential problems.
