The product mesh I dervied this from is missing. I'm not sure why but I thought it would be nice if I set this product to derivable. Please set your derivation to non-derivable and use your own textures. Anyone who republishes my sword with my unaltered textures will be reported for DCMA violations. You have been warned!
It's dangerous to go alone! Take this:

The grip panel (Material ID 09) is 128x256; the blade (Material ID 10) and scabbard (Material ID 12) are each 32x512. Good luck! The remaining images are of the product for sale:

This sword stays away from the trite 'black & chrome' motif most affairs on here have with it's rich chocolate and mocha tones. An authentic period piece would most likely have brown leathers and either bronze or gold hardware depending on how wealthy the chieftain or king having it made was.
It features a rough approximation of Blade III from the Oakeshott tables with a deep fuller showing some nice pattern welding (damascus.) Hilt Variant IV.2 (a compound guard and pommel shaped like a brazil nut). The hilt fittings are accented by cab cut rubies. The scabbard is in situ with rawhide binding, gilded locket and chape embossed with crescent moons. Truly this is a sword fit for a prince or king.

Yes. Ernie is wearing a Choking Victim shirt. You'll choke too when you see how freaking sweet this sword is!

Really this is a 'dark ages' piece but it's style would be seen up into the early middle ages. Norse, or Germanic in origin but you would have even seen Saxons carrying similar weapons.

Commands are: draw, rehom, f1, f2, hang, wait.
This weapon, like most of D.G.D.'s wares, is completely unisex so buy one for the frauen in your life!
DISCLAIMER: I am not a museum curator. If I was I would not even be able to afford cheese sandwiches. That would be lame. I like steaks and sushi. All appraisals of historical accuracy are done by a slightly insane amateur running on three hours of sleep and three pots of tea. Product shown with SWORD POSES 1 by Edwa Trap, not included. This medieval recreation is not intended for use on watermelons. Use at your own risk. No warranty expressed or implied. Try it before you buy it. Rock on. Et cetera.

P.S. Seriously, don't rip off my textures and make me regret making this available. I will report you so fast. Izzy
