The Thrower
(Despite the avie shown in this video, this item is for Men and Women)

Guns and Monsters not your style? Looking for something fun and "normal" for your avie? Try the Thrower! Inspired by the Frisbee, this plastic disk is hidden on your avie until you're ready to use it. With a command your avie will pull it out and give it a good toss, catching it on the return without fail. It can be used sitting or standing up. And if you want to show off your disk, use the HoldDisk command to keep it in your avie's hands. Sure, it's not a Phased Plasma Rifle in the 40-watt range, but it is fun, simple, and works with any outfit or costume. If you ever find yourself on a Beach or Park, you'll be thankful you have the Thrower!

Commands:
"ThrowStanding" - Your avie gives the disk a good standing toss from the side.
"ThrowSitting" - Let's your avie toss the disk without moving their legs or hips, handy if you want to remain sitting.
"HoldDisk" - Allows you to show the disk off for awhile. (doesn't work well with the Throw commands)

PLEASE NOTE: This object will Remain Hidden until you type in one of the above commands. When you put it on you won't see anything change on your avie because it's hidden. It also uses Avie Body Channel 70. It's extremely rare that any other object would be using this channel, but if they did, adding that object would remove this item for your avie. If you put on a new item recently and found that the Thrower stopped working, make certain the new object hasn't removed the Thrower from your avie by applying it again.

Prefer a Blue disk over a Red one? Or maybe something completely different, like a Boomerang? Well then, get Deriving! Make your own version, and even sell it the catalog for a small markup over my original, and keep the extra profits for yourself! You can express yourself AND earn credits at the same time. How's that for a sweet deal? You'll need a full account on IMVU, as well as a copy of Previewer. You can find out more about Deriving on the IMVU's Education Center. Below is the template you'll need to get started (Right Click and Save As to your computer):

This is the Texture map for the Thrower. It's 2 sided, Top and Bottom, split down the middle. If you change the shape of the disk, make sure you alter the Opacity layer to support it:

This is the Opacity layer for the Thrower. By altering this image, you can change the Disk into any kind of shape you desire. Anything that is White is solid, and anything Black is invisible. Basically you're making a white silhouette of your new object. This image defines it's form:

This is the Wireframe layout for the Thrower. This image will help you fit your new shape to the model. There's also a wireframe outline of where the avie's hand goes, so you can fit the object into the avie's hand correctly. Keep in mind that the disk is slightly domed, so any new object you design will be bent:

To add sound, I highly recommend you download and use Audacity. It's a free sound editing tool that can export out OGG sound files. OGG sound files compress down to less then 1/10th the file size of WAV files. SO USE OGG FILES!!! You can download it here:
