As with a lot of my dresses and gowns, this has a magic Emerald
gemstone affixed firmly to the front of the dress in an appliqué
lacework. This is a vibrant bright green stone that must never be
separated from the dress - with it, the wearer will be able to evade
capture, evade being stabbed, even evade bullets and light energy
weapons fired at her – for her, time slows down around her, allowing
her to see what is coming at her, and avoid it. The gem stone is
defensive, not offensive in nature – to use it’s powers for offense
would be to cause it to fracture, and lose it’s magical properties. So,
if a gun is fired, the bullet travels too fast for her to clench the stone
to herself, and so she gets shot; however, if she is holding the gemstone
already, and the bullet is fired, she see the bullet coming at her for a
good 3 seconds from across the room. ((Role play item magic that
never-ever works on morons who can’t RP, but is very effective against
those who CAN!)). Extremely useful dress to be wearing if you fear
being attacked – just remember to hold the gem against yourself!
