My niece has a genetic disorder called Angelman Syndrome. She's mentally handicapped and will likely never be able to live by herself, without a caretaker. She'll never be able to understand if some mean kid should make fun of her. She'll never know that sometimes, people worry about her to the point of tears. One thing that she, like all Angelman Syndrome children, will be able to do is smile thru almost anything. In some ways, Angelman Syndrome is a curse, but at least, in this way, its a bit of a blessing in disguise. This fur is in support of her, and her beautiful smile, gorgeous red curls, and blatantly honest, wide mouthed kisses. This fur is my small way of helping people become more aware of Angelman Syndrome, and of showing those here on IMVU that may have been touched by an angel of Angelman Syndrome that they are not alone.
