Necklace with Ibong Adarna Pendant Ibong Adarna is an epic on the character of the same name thought to be. The mythical bird in the story is very beautiful and possesses magical powers such as seven songs with healing properties that cause anyone who hears it to fall into a deep sleep. Its feces can turn living things to stone. The bird is said to be found in Mt. Tabor, where it perches on the shimmering Piedras Platas. The story's title during the Spanish occupation in the Philippines is "Corrido at Buhay na Pinagdaanan nang Tatlong Principeng Magcacapatid na Anac nang Haring Fernando at nang Reina Valeriana sa Cahariang Berbania" (Filipino for "Corrido and Life that the Three Children of King Fernando and Queen Valeriana of the Berbania Kindgdom Went Through"). Up to this day, no one exactly knows who is the author of the poem. Photos to follow
