The Jet Boots
(Despite the avie shown in this video, this item is for Men and Women)

Is your Iron Man looking a little too grounded? Maybe your James Bond needs a Lift? Well you'll never feel stuck in the dirty again with a pair of Jet Boots! These hidden items work with any outfit or footwear, turning the bases of your feet into Jets that will allow you to take to the sky and claim air superiority at a moment's notice. You're enemies will quiver below you, your friends will look on in awe, as you soar high above them, thanks to these powerful shoe enhancers.

(Warning: Don't use on Shag Carpet!)

Commands are:
"Hover" - Keeps your avie a few feet off the ground for about a minute.
"BlastOff" - Will send you soaring high into the air, and all around the area.
"FireSpin" - Sends your avie into a very artist spin, like an Ice Skater... with JET BOOTS!

PLEASE NOTE: This item will work equally well with Male and Female avies, but is found under Male Accessories because IMVU lacks a Uni- category. This item conflicts with any item that uses Channel 67 in the avie's body. Extremely few items replace that body channel, but if one of your items does it will either remove this item, or the other item. If you're in doubt, use TRY IT before you BUY IT! There will be NO REFUNDS if it doesn't work with your existing outfit.

Prefer Red Jets over Yellow? Wish all that Fire made a Sound? Good! Then DERIVE it! Make your own version, and even sell it the catalog for a small markup over my original, and keep the extra profits for yourself! You can express yourself AND earn credits at the same time. How's that for a sweet deal? You'll need a full account on IMVU, as well as a copy of Previewer. You can find out more about Deriving on the IMVU's Education Center. Below is the template you'll need to get started:

This is the Texture map for the Jet Flames. This defines the Color of the Flames. All you need here is a color, or in my case, a color gradient, to match the flames you desire. Flames are usually brighter at the base, and get dimmer at the top, so you should shade this image accordingly:

This is the Opacity map for the Jet Flames. This is what defines the Shape of those Flames. This is just a Black and White Silhouette of the Flames that will appear. If you want the flames lighter, use a darker Gray. If you want the flames more solid, use a brighter shade. Just make sure the image isn't all White or all Black, and that the flame edges don't go over the top of the texture. Otherwise your flames will get unnaturally cut off, and look very strange:

To add sound, I highly recommend you download and use Audacity. It's a free sound editing tool that can export out OGG sound files. OGG sound files compress down to less then 1/10th the file size of WAV files. SO USE OGG FILES!!! You can download it here:
