The umbrella is the right color when rendered in Standard Graphics and Open GL. It's white when rendered in Direct 3D. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR YOU? If your umbrella shows up as all-white - here is the solution:

How to fix the problem: When you open IMVU Messenger - at the top of the window click on Settings and then the top three options - click on Standard graphics. Then for good measure click on Help - Tools - Clear IMVU Cache. Then restart IMVU Messenger (Buddies - Sign Out then open it again)! This should take care of the problem. =)
