Ok it is not perfect but you can't camp in bear territory without one! Trust me. As a kid my mother's Red Opal car was torn up by a pissed off momma bear right before sunrise at the Bridleveil campground in Yosemite National Park! This is a true story! I have bear stories for days. Ever wanna talk bears I am your lady! LOL Ok so what is a bear locker? Also known as a bear box. They are metal/iron storage containers to put your ice chest and food in at campsites and at trailheads. Bears have a heightened sense of smell. They will tear up anything to get food if they are hungry or even just darned mad. So no self respecting campsite would go without one! Helps keep the site tidy too. No messy ice chests laying in the dirt. Note-does not actually open. Anyway thanks for taking a peek! Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
