Well, I have done it. This is destined to be my favourite thing on all of IMVU. Literally, this is something which I have, for years, yearned for. Alas, yama nashi, ochi nashi, imi nashi... My yearning wasted away, unrequited. That is, until today!

Okay, so WTF is it?

It is a sword. Duh. (product shown with tactical gear and sword poses, not included)

It does have a couple of poses and actions, though.

Really, I blame Battle Angel (even though the only people who thought Robert Rodriguez's shameful cash-in on an existing property was amazing have never watched anime before and struggle pronouncing the word manga--I could say the same about Netflix's Cowboy Bebop but would need to add that rail guns are NOT a marketing gimmick!). Having watched Hawkeye I wanted a folding, concealable more than ever. This insane level of want has been building for months. I have one concealable sword (yep, it's a link) in my catalogue already, but that is really a "magical girl" kind of thing and not very sci-fi or tacticool. Finally I discover the perfect mesh! So I took some liberties with it--if you read comics you know that things look different every time they hire a new artist. And, honestly, the one in the show kind of looked like some $12.98 garbage from BudK. But I kept the cool cutouts in the blade. They will make this big old thing lighter and enable you to perform sword traps on your opponents.

The body of the thing is made of carbon fiber and delrin. The hardware is chrome. And I decided to make the blade pattern welded steel. You know, because I could, why the hell wouldn't I. You can call this damascus steel, beskar steel, valyrian steel, do you! The point is that it's a high-martensitic bainite reinforced throughout with carbon nanotubes and imbued with micro serrations and the edge has a higher rockwell hardness than the body of the blade. You can google all of those five dollar words. I will wait here for you to come back and buy this giant switchblade sword.

Try it before you buy it!
