Would you like to have a pile of money? Cash is nice but inflation and/or market fluctuations might kill its buying power. Stacks of paper currency take up a lot of space and are prone to getting ruined in long-term storage if the environment is not strictly controlled. How about something more physically durable and concrete like gold bullion? Gold does not even tarnish.

Arguably these coins are worth more on the numismatics market or the antiques market than they are for the 30 grams of gold each contains. And 30 grams of gold is worth quite a bit. That is true value and financial security.

Below is a table telling you what kind of coins there are. I tried to include an assortment from the Middle Iron Age, Age of Exploration and Modern Era. This includes Celt-Iberian, some from the Sully Hoard, coins from Emperor Hadrian, China's Khitan Dynasty, Damascus, doubloons from Spain and Italy, a late Georgian Sovereign from the U.K., South Africa's (in)famous Krugerrand, a couple of rare Double Eagles and China's popular Golden Panda.

Try it before you buy it!
