VECTOR MOTORS CORPORATION is creating the next generation Vector Hyper-Performance Road Vehicle (HPRV) code named Vector Avtech WX8. The design represents a significant technological and performance advancement and calculated departure from the previous W8 supercar designs. The new WX8 maintains Vector identity which differentiates the Vectors from all other supercars.

Founder and Chairman Gerald A. Wiegert has designed and created the next generation Vector. It is the world’s first Hyper-Performance Road Vehicle (HPRV) for the global Exotic Sports Super car market segment. The Vector Avtech WX8 is American made and utilizes an Advanced Modular Mil-Spec Systems approach for design, engineering, drivetrain, and materials technology. The Vectors new WX8 is the only car in the world to incorporate Marine, Aviation, and Aerospace technology into its design and construction. The exterior design and cockpit of the Vector has the logic, look and feel of an Advanced Tactical Fighter aircraft. The Vector is a sophisticated U.S. made HPRV machine that takes supercar performance to the next level. The most powerful Vectors big block 10 liter V-8 engine is capable of over 2,000 horsepower. The durable race engineered all-aluminum mid-mounted high-output engines will establish the new Vector WX8 as the fastest and most powerful production automobiles since the original Vector W8 Twin Turbo was put in production. The Vector WX8 is powered by a 7.8 liter (478 cid) or 10.0 liter (600 cid) all aluminum big-block V8 engine. The powerplant is derived from “CanAm” road racing and offshore boat racing engines. This ultimate Vector incorporates twin supercharging or twin turbo-charging with a projected top speed capability of 275 MPH+ and power output of 1,400hp to over 2,000hp.
