It should be said that the only thing I hate worse than making shoes is taking promo pix of them! >,< That being said, however, I am quite proud of these ones. I made them to match a skirt I bought. I spent an hour or so trying to find something that matched it but to no avail. I have a feeling that these will complete other ensembles in the catalogue as well.
Wedge heels made of stacked leather, the quarters/vamp, straps and welt are made of a supple brown suede accented all over with antique bronze hardware and some light decorative stitching. These feature that high end lacquered red sole that is popular. They are so simple but took longer to make than I care to think about. Although, they did not take as long as I had previously spent looking for something like them. Is the lesson here, "Give up sooner"? That can't be right... I need sleep.
Try it before you buy it!
