Ah, the Desert Eagle. It is one of the largest handguns ever produced. The recoil is ridiculous and if you stand too close to your target then you may inadvertently set fire to it! This is the gun you use when you are absolutely not screwing around. Here are some more fun facts:

*The Mark VII weighs 4.2 lbs. That is almost as heavy an M1 carbine--a WW2 rifle that held fifteen rounds of .30 caliber amunition.

*Excess gasses from the fired bullet are vented into a piston which cycles the slide like an AK-47.
The bolt face also has lugs in it that lock the breech not unlike modern military rifles.

*Despite its massive size and weight the magazine only holds 7-9 bullets. They are that big.

*Back in 1988 when it was invented, the BATFE (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives) originally wanted to
classify handguns which fired .50 Action Express as destructive devices which needed to be registered under the National
Firearms Act so the bullet was redesigned to be 0.01" in diameter smaller.

*A typical .50 AE bullet is over 300 grains in weight and has around 1,500 foot pounds of energy. That is a bullet over twice the
diameter of an M4 carbine's 5.56x45 round and five times the weight with the same amount of energy. This requires a massive
charge of smokeless powder to accomplish, hence the limited magazine size.

*The Desert Eagle is frequently used to hunt large game and is considered adequate defense against polar bears. They are
so big and so powerful that it is not uncommon to see scopes, carbine-length barrels and/or shoulder stocks on them.

*.50 Beowulf--a special rifle round used by SEALs and other special forces for close-up firefights--is based off of the .50 AE cartridge.

Okay, lets see some promo pix of this new tool!

Yes, it is pink, leopard print, gold plated AND has an opal grip.

AND it is unisex (Hi, Ernie)!

Admittedly, this is not the best mesh. It is a little two dimensional. But is it the best gun? I like to think that it is. Your choices for a good looking d'eagle at this price point are pretty much black, chrome, gold or gold tiger striped. Maybe you can find a two-tone one--but that still is not very girly, is it? Go ahead, shop around. I'll wait.
There are over one hundred versions of this gun in the female section of the catalogue. As usual, most are zero-derive stolen textures and the body of the rest look like they were made in MS Paint by a little kid. The cutest of that lot--and the only version that can hold a candle to Yours Truly--are well over a thousand credits. As LL Cool J once succinctly put it, "Are you in it for the money or in it for the love?" But mine is still cuter besides and the contours of the weapon are not obscured by its finish. So, as per usual, Izzy is offering custom-quality work at n00b-level prices. You can not beat that with a stick.
Try it before you buy it!
