A framed painting by Pablo Picasso entitled "Pierrot" painted in 1918.
Pablo Diego José Francisco de Paula Juan Nepomuceno María de los Remedios Cipriano de la Santísima Trinidad Clito Ruiz y Picasso was born October 25, 1881 and died April 8, 1973. A Spanish painter, sculptor, draughtsman, printmaker, decorative artist and writer, he dominated 20th-century European art and was central in the development of the image of the modern artist. “Everyone wants to understand art. Why don’t we try to understand the song of a bird? Why do we love the night, the flowers, everything around us, without trying to understand them?... people who try to explain pictures are usually barking up the wrong tree.”
