The Floating Spots!
During the first month I was on IMVU, I had a wonderful idea for a new product. After searching through the catalog with every keyword and manner I could think of I realized it didn't exist in IMVU. I had an original idea! So I registered as a developer and started fighting with the previewer. That was a battle too, for some reason that previewer would not recognize my password and IMVU's tech support didn't have an answer. Before I could get previewer to work, I saw my idea appear, done by someone else. Sheer bad timing since I never mentioned it to anyone, but Whystler's "The Standing Spot" could have been mine. Any idea that good usually does occur to several people independently, and I certainly didn't know enough then to develop it, but "I could been a contender" *rofl.* I do think he did a marvelous job and highly recommend it to anyone who needs an extra standing spot somewhere.
It occurs to me there is another somewhat useful spot missing from IMVU though. A floating spot suitable for underwater, pools, ponds, rivers and other water scenes, but equally suitable for outer space or even just your typical levitation class. Not as commonly needed as an extra standing spot perhaps, but certainly useful. As is usual with these spots, the standard shadow shows where the spot is located, but an inverse "white" shadow version is also available. I'm even including a "seawater" version, which is darker than typical seawater so it won't disappear entirely (I hope). This is my first attempt at doing an animation myself, but the requirements here are modest so I'm pleased with it. I hope you are too.
