The OctoArms (for the OctoAvie)
(This item work with Men AND Women!)

These tentacles are for the OctoAvie body (available in separate Male and Female versions). They might work with other large, round avie bodies, but are ONLY designed for the OctoAvie.

Here's a video of the whole set in operation:

PLEASE NOTE: This item is found under Female Accessories, because IMVU lacks a Uni- category for items. This item works with both Male and Female avies.

---------------------------- Deriving Section --------------------------

Prefer a Green Alien skin? Bloody Red? And how about some SOUND FX's?? Well then, buddy, start Deriving! Make your own version, and even sell it the catalog for a small markup over my original, and keep the extra profits for yourself! You can express yourself AND earn credits at the same time. How's that for a sweet deal? You'll need a full account on IMVU, as well as a copy of Previewer. You can find out more about Deriving on the IMVU's Education Center.

Please go to the Male OctoAvie catalog page or the Female OctoAvie catalog page for the Templates to the OctoArms!

Because this is designed to be pair with the OctoAvie model, much of this skin on the Arms is unused. The idea being that first you make your custom OctoAvie, then you use that exact same skin for the OctoArms you derive afterwards. So *PLEASE* derive your Male or Female OctoAvie first, then use that skin for the arms. Since the Arms work with Male or Female, you only need to derive the Arms once for both genders.

To add sound, I highly recommend you download and use Audacity. It's a free sound editing tool that can export out OGG sound files. OGG sound files compress down to less then 1/10th the file size of WAV files. SO USE OGG FILES!!! You can download it here:
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

Also avoid looping sounds, as they tend to get annoying to listen to very quickly. Try to keep your volume levels low as well, as IMVU tends to over-amplify all audio playback to near ear-bleeding levels.
