Short, messy, disheveled, brown-black hair. Running your fingers through it, you notice just how gnarled, putrid, and downright gross it is. You didn't realize hair could smell . . . rotten. There's some kind of dark, red stains throughout the hair. Some of it has dried and created clumps; some of it is still gooey and moist, leaving thin, cold stains on your fingers. You raise your hand to your face and you're met with a metallic scent. Is this . . . blood?

You stumble backwards as the hair moves slightly, and a croaking sound comes from beneath it. Whatever the hair's attached to isn't quite entirely dead. . .
