Somei Yoshino Sakura/ANI

The most popular variety of sakura in Japan is the Somei Yoshino. Its flowers are nearly pure white, tinged with the palest pink, especially near the stem. It was developed in the mid- to late-19th century at the end of the Edo period and the beginning of the Meiji period. This is a traditional Japanese Somei Yoshino Sakura, with blossoms bunching to form an unique look as often seen during Cherry Blossom viewing. Relax and enjoy the animated swing with your favorite avatar, while the gentle falling Sakura petals surround you, and the blossoms flow in the wind.
