I might now have a pet right now but I do support causes that helps out our animal friends, no matter what species they are. When I was browsing though a friends comments, one of their friends bought up an animal sanctuary, and this caught my interest. I look though the page and learned that it's a no kill rescue and advocacy for all species of animals. And you know what that is awesome! The group also build wheelchairs for disabled animals, which to me shows the commit that this group have towards animals. The Animal Nature Sanctuary is located in Spokane, Washington (which I might add is a very beautiful place! I visited there once!) and they throw shows to entertain, and inform people about their cause. A Pawsitive Purrpose Serving Spokane County Mission - To Save as Many Animals as Possible! Animal Nature Sanctuary is designed to fill the gaps left in local animal rescue efforts. While working in Veterinary Clinics, Pet Stores, & other Rescues it was discovered that when concerns arose in our community not much was done. This may have been a lack of resources or knowledge of the need but it sparked with ANS. I'm sure they would also love to hear feedback from you!
