Classic repositionable sit pose for avatars that allows independent avatar animation, this pose is not frozen. It is a lean file size of only 1 kb, so it will be very unobtrusive and you can include as many as you like without loading down your room. :) The beauty of this pose is that it allows great control, precision, and versatility. The problem with most furniture is that they have their own sit pose spots built in, which are often quite dorky or stilted, or too many on one chair making it hard to find the right pose, and you cannot resize the furniture without affecting your avatar size. Well, this pose spot is completely independent of other furniture, so you can do what you like to your heart's content! You can rescale the spot to directly affect the size of the avatar that uses it, you can resize your furniture and still have a standard size avi sitting on it, and you can create more natural settings by carefully angling the orientation. It is completely invisible so that it does not intrude on your scenery. The trick to placement is to first get your avatar to stand close to where you want this spot to finally be placed. Then, click on this product to insert into your room, and it will materialise on a furniture node somewhere close to where your avi is. Now switch to "avatar move" mode (a little person icon located at the top left of your screen in the room tools box) to locate the yellow pose spot indicator. Snap your avatar onto it, then change to "furniture position" mode (a little compass icon). Now, while your avatar is standing on it, move it around, and you'll see your avi go surfing! Now you can place the pose spot exactly where you want it to be without difficulty.

Above is an example of a piece of furniture with standard sit poses built in. Notice that the avatars are both facing forward and not as natural or intimate as they could be. Note also that if you tried to resize the furniture, whatever avatar was sitting on it would be affected as well.

In the example above, the avatars are using my sit spot, of which 2 have been added to the chair manually. Notice that the angle of orientation has been adjusted to make the poses more natural and friendly.

Above is an example of how the avatar is directly affected if a normal piece of furniture is resized. Both the chair and avatar end up being larger.

In the example above, the avatar on the right is sitting on its own sit spot which is independent of any action done to the chair, so you can change the size of your furniture any way you want and preserve the size of your avatar.
