Corey Reinhardt's eyes. They're green, smexxy and can be worn on any avatar. What else can I say? This character from my comic deserves all the publicity he can get. He's a rockstar~ ^~

As a digital manga artist, eyes are a big part of what make my art shine. I like much of what I see here at IMVU, but the kind of eyes that I paint are a little different. I knew I could easily figure out how to do the kind of eyes *I* wanted, and now I can share them with everyone else!

These eyes are a bit more on the oval side (vertical), which is what I was looking for. It fills out the eye more, for that unrealistic yet beautiful look which compliments most avatar faces very nicely. There's a definitive "anime-style" shine to them. Multiple values of green fill this particular eye. A closer look reveals the different shades. Also, instead of filling in the eye with pure black, my pupils are shaded with very dark shades of whatever color eye I'm using. It's a stylistic choice that I find makes them stand out. Enjoy them!

These eyes are now derivable! I know how frustrating it can be to have to settle on a color you're not happy with only because you like the design of an eye but can't find the right shade of blue/brown/godzilla green that you like. :D And since I can't really afford to make a zillion shades and then have half of them not sell, it's easier for me and for you if I make them derivable and provide my .psd file. Here it is: Click here for .psd!

IF YOU USE THIS .PSD FILE YOU AGREE TO:
  • Derive DIRECTLY from this page
  • NOT make your product derivable, please :D
  • provide a direct link to me if you use the template on any eye that is not derived from this page.

I hand-painted the template... please respect that if you like it!

    Instructions:
  • Open the .psd file in Photoshop. The only layer you'll mess with is the eye layer. Leave the shine and background alone if you aren't sure, it'll only mess things up. :D
  • Adjust the hue with whatever option you want -- Hue and Saturation, Color Balance, desaturate, whatever tickles you.
  • Flatten the layers and save as a .jpg. DO NOT RESIZE!
  • Derive from this product and in Previewer set the JPG you just made as the color map.
  • That's it! Submit it and you'll have your very own color of Corey eyes.
