Was it a toxic oil spill or too many GMOs in the water run-off?
Maybe global warming caused this once prestine wetlands
to turn into a smouldering firepit.
Everyone else has left the area except old Gil, he owns the small cabin
and seems strangely familiar with the resident alligator that roams the swamp.
