Garden in Bordighera, Impression of Morning, by Claude Monet. In 1884, Monet stayed about 10 weeks in Bordighera and painted about 35 works. He also painted another 11 works on the French Riviera on his way home. The very carefully chosen colour harmonies and the motif of palms and citrus trees in the garden of Francesco Moreno at Bordighera, with a backdrop of the Alps is breathtaking. This lovely sight was possible because he gained privileged access to the beautiful garden via Durand-Ruel (his art dealer). Hope you enjoy!

NOTE: This is a tall wall hanging which is floor standing and does not require a wall node in order to placed in a room. Suitable for rooms which are limited in wall nodes or have no wall nodes. It is particularly useful for homes or buildings which are furniture items and contain no nodes. It's also double faced so the backside of the picture is NO transparent BUT will show the same prints.
