The Buzz Saw Hand
(This item works for both Men and Women!)

So, you're avie lost their hand? You could get a Hook, or maybe a cool robotic hand... or something FLIPP'N AWESOME, like the Buzz Saw Hand! Well not practical, or even remotely safe, the Buzz Saw Hand is the most BAD-A** hand replacement since Ash strapped on a chainsaw. You'll be sawing your way through space pirates, zombies, mutants, and alien freaks like butter! And it's got that dirty grind-house/sci-fi aesthetic that should fit right in with whatever "Punk" you're into.

For extra fun, use one of the avie-to-avie greeting animations, and quickly active one of the Saw's attacks. Let people really know what you think of them!

Commands:
"StartEngine" - to power up the gas engine
"Saw" - Goes for the Throut
"HeadSplitter" - Comes down from Above
"Gut" - Attacks from Below

PLEASE NOTE: The Buzz Saw Hand work for both Men and Women, but are found under Male Gloves due to IMVU's lack of a Uni- accessory category. This item will conflict with any item that replaces the avie's right hand. This includes gloves and certain full-body replacements. If you try to use any item that conflicts the Saw, it will either remove this item, or the other item will disappear. Please "TRY IT" before you "BUY IT" to sure a good fit. There will be NO REFUNDS if it doesn't work with your existing outfit.

Don't like the Red paint job? Think the Buzz Saw is too clean? And how about some Sound Effects?? Well then quite complaining and DERIVE it! Make your own version, and even sell it the catalog for a small markup over my original, and keep the extra profits for yourself! You can express yourself AND earn credits at the same time. How's that for a sweet deal? You'll need a full account on IMVU, as well as a copy of Previewer. You can find out more about Deriving on the IMVU's Education Center. Here are the templates you'll need below:

This is the actual Texture map for the Body of the Buzz Saw Hand. You'll need the Wireframe template to make sense of it, but use this image to make simple changes to the Hatchet, like color or adding decals:

This is a "Gray" template for the Body of the Saw. Use this it you wish to completely recolor the Body of the Saw but still wish to retain all of my careful shading and detail:

This is the Wireframe Template for the Body of the Saw. This shows you exactly how the Texture map attaches to the model. You'll need this if you plan on any in-depth changes to the appearance of the Saw:

Keep in mind that the Saw and Blade elements are seperated from the Body Texture. You could replace them with a Fire texture, or some other glowing effect, to turn the Buzz Saw into a Plasma Saw. Well the Body of the Saw shouldn't be transparent, the Blades and Saw can be and still look accurate. Please don't feet limited to just regular old Steel. Your creative interpretation could be the difference between a sale and no sale!

To add sound, I highly recommend you download and use Audacity. It's a free sound editing tool that can export out OGG sound files. OGG sound files compress down to less then 1/10th the file size of WAV files. SO USE OGG FILES!!! You can download it here:
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

Please keep your sound volume levels within acceptable limits. DON'T MAKE YOUR SOUND AS LOUD AS POSSIBLE!!! Loud sounds will annoy other users, and reduce your sales. Also avoid using Looping sounds, as IMVU has no controls to stop Looping sounds once they start playing.

Also please keep in mind that Deriving is not the same as using extraction tools and resubmitting. When you use tools to extract and resubmit my items without using IMVU's Deriving function, you remove me from earning anything off the sale of my items. So you're effectively STEALING from me. Not only will this get your account revoked, your credits ceases, your PayPal account shutdown, and get you into all kinds of legal troubles... it's also just plain wrong. Please don't steal from me. Please use the "Derive from Product" link and keep your account honest. You profit, I profit, and your honesty insures I'll be making many more wonderful things for you to derive from for many years to come.
