The RPG v2
(Despite the avie in the Video, This is a product for Men AND Women!)

The RPG, short for "Ruchnoy Protivotankovy Granatomyo", is a replicate of the Russian made RPG-7, one of the world's most prolific anti-armor weapons. Originally developed during World War 2, this simple and inexpensive rocket launcher has been a favorite weapon in 3rd world warfare for over 50 years. Well it lacks the power to puncture the latest generation armor, it's still proven useful against personal and lightly armored vehicles.

....Or at least the real thing does. This is just a digital replicate and guaranteed to harm no one... although it might blow a few MINDS!

Type in "FireRPG" to active the weapon. Then just sit back and watch the fireworks!

PLEASE NOTE: This item works with both sexes but is listed under Male Gloves because IMVU lacks a Unisex catagory. This item replaces Avie Body ID Channel 37. Extremely few items need that channel, but if you happen to have one that does, this item will not work with it. This item might also look strange with any avie hand replacements. Regardless of the case, I strongly suggest you use Try It before you Buy It, to ensure it works with your avie's outfit. There will be no refunds will be given if you buy it and it doesn't work with your outfit.

Wish the RPG was Gold? Want to see a Green Fireball? And how about some SOUND EFFECTS?! Well then, get to work and DERIVE it! Make your own version, and even sell it the catalog for a small markup over my original, and keep the extra profits for yourself! You can express yourself AND earn credits at the same time. How's that for a sweet deal? You'll need a full account on IMVU, as well as a copy of Previewer. You can find out more about Deriving on the IMVU's Education Center. Here are the templates you'll need below:

This is the Texture Map used for the RPG's main Body. Use this if you wish to make small changes to the appearance of the gun's Body, like color:

This is a Wireframe of the Body of the RPG. This shows you exactly how the Texture Map attaches to the structure of the gun's Body. You'll need this if you wish to make a new Texture map from scratch:

This is a Gray Image of the Body. Use this if you wish to add a completely new apperance to the gun, but want to retain all of my careful shading:

This is the Texture map for the Sights on Top:

This is the Texture map for the Rocket Propelled Grenade, itself:

This is the Texture map used for the Smoke Trail:

This is the Opacity layer for the Smoke Trail. An Opacity layer is basically a Black and White Silohette that controls how much of an object is visible or invisible. The darker it is, the more transparent the item becomes. Completely black makes it completely disappear. As you can see here I used a light color for the Smoke Trail, it keep it reasonably visible:

This is the Opacity and Texture map for the Fire Effect you see on the RPG and the Grenade, when fired. Chances are you won't have to replace this:

This is the Texture map for the Fireball you see when the Grenade explodes. If you replace this image, keep in mind that the edges repeat, so make sure the Left and Right, and Top and bottom, edges all match:

To add sound, I highly recommend you download and use Audacity. It's a free sound editing tool that can export out OGG sound files. OGG sound files compress down to less then 1/10th the file size of WAV files. SO USE OGG FILES!!! You can download it here:
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

Please DON'T MAKE YOUR SOUND AS LOUD AS POSSIBLE!!! Loud sounds will annoy other users, and reduce your sales. Also avoid using Looping sounds, as IMVU has no controls to stop Looping sounds once they start playing.

Also please keep in mind that Deriving is not the same as using extraction tools and resubmitting. When you use tools to extract and resubmit my items without using IMVU's Deriving function, you remove me from earning anything off the sale of my items. So you're effectively STEALING from me. Not only will this get your account revoked, your credits ceases, your PayPal account shutdown, and get you into all kinds of legal troubles... it's also just plain wrong. Please don't steal from me. Please use the "Derive from Product" link and keep your account honest. You profit, I profit, and your honesty insures I'll be making many more wonderful things for you to derive from for many years to come.
