Yacht-Master II introduced at Baselworld 2007 is the new sports wristwatch for yachtsmen. This new timepiece comes from the house of . Majority of their watches have remained same for many years, and for the first time had introduced something different from their original design.

The case is made of white gold with a diameter of 42.6 mm, equipped with a Triplock winding crown. The Ring Command bezel Rotatable at 90�, allows access to the programming and locking function of the countdown. The hour and minute hands are fixed in the centre of the watch, while the seconds hand is at the 6 o�clock position.

The new Yacht-Master II is said to start appearing this summer and will be available in yellow or white gold. To own this timepiece you�ll have to spend somewhere around $30, 000.

The new Yacht-Master II is the first watch to have a programmable countdown feature with a mechanical memory and can be set according to the countdown time of each regatta. To start the countdown just press start or stop pusher. At the end of the countdown, the minute hand stops by itself at 0 but the seconds hand continues to turn.

This new version has an extremely complex and innovative new movement, the 4160 calibre, consisting of 360 components, designed and manufactured by .

The heart of the movement beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour. Its blue PARACHROM (R) hairspring with a Breguet overcoil is up to 10 times more resistant to shocks and insensitive to magnetic fields. This innovation endows the watch with excellent chronometric performance certified by COSC (Controle officiel suisse des Chronometres � Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute).
