This simple prop puts a nice, consumer level, point-and-shoot digital camera into your avie's hand. On command it allows your avie to appear to take photos, complete with a retractable lens and bright flash. It's handy if you're dressing up as a reporter, tourist, or just to let people know they are doing something *SO* Scandalous in the chat-room that you're going to take screenies and post them online later! (Keep it clean people, kids play this game)

PLEASE NOTE: The Digital Camera works equally well for Male and Female avies, but is found under Female Gloves. Blame IMVU's poor catalog system for that one. This item also conflicts with any item that uses Channel 32 in the avie's body. Extremely few items replace that body channel, but if one of your items does it will either remove this item, or the other item. It might not properly fit certain items like Gloves or Custom Hands. I'm not posting the Texture map for the Flash because it's a solid white image. The shape of the Flash is defined by the Opacity layer, not the texture map. Since a Flash is just a bright, white image, you shouldn't need to change it.

This is the Opacity layer for the Flash. An Opacity layer is a Black and White silhouette that tells the computer how much of an image should be visible, transparent, or invisible. It's highly unlikely you'll need this, but if you wish to change the appearance of the Flash, for whatever reason, just make a completely black image, 128x128 pixels, with a white smear in the middle. Flashes are typically star shaped, so keep that in mind:

To add sound, I highly recommend you download and use Audacity. It's a free sound editing tool that can export out OGG sound files. OGG sound files compress down to less then 1/10th the file size of WAV files. SO USE OGG FILES!!! You can download it here:

Please keep your sound volume levels within acceptable limits. DON'T MAKE YOUR SOUND AS LOUD AS POSSIBLE!!! Loud sounds will annoy other users, and reduce your sales. Also avoid using Looping sounds, as IMVU has no controls to stop Looping sounds once they start playing.
