This is an elegant tudor period gown, perfect for dressing up as one of the many women in the life of Henry VIII. It is also good for early elizabethan and late renaissance attire. This one features a full hooped gown with a black underskirt and a jacquard overskirt edged with trim. The bodice features a square neckline with a chemise peeking out. The bottome edge of the bodice is scalloped and edged with trim. The sleeves are short to expose the long sleeves of the chemise and edged with trim and ribbon. This gown was created mostly to be accurate but also to be versatile, so that you will be able to wear it again for other costumes. Also available are my matching accessories: a french headband (a french hood minus the hood so you can show off your lovely hairstyle) and the necklace worn by Anne Boleyn.
