There will be NO REFUNDS if it doesn't fit your needs.

Not fond of Rainbows? Wish it was a different color? Prefer Flying Skulls over simple color bars? And how about some SOUND EFFECTS??? Well quite complaining and DERIVE it! Make your own version, and even sell it the catalog for a small markup over my original, and keep the extra profits for yourself! You can express yourself AND earn credits at the same time. How's that for a sweet deal? You'll need a full account on IMVU, as well as a copy of Previewer. You can find out more about Deriving on the IMVU's Education Center. Here are the templates you'll need below:

This is the Texture map for the Light Waver. I used a simple Spectrum Strip for this object as an example, but please don't feel limited to my choice! Although it will be distorted, you can use images of objects, wavy lines, Fire, Ice, even change the direction of the Scrolling Animation movement to achieve a COMPLETELY different effect. You could have Flying Skulls, Lightning, Fire, Nyan Cat, or just about anything you can think of on the Light Waver. And it doesn't have to glow or animate. Please experiment with the Texture map in the Editor, see what interesting things you can do with it:

This is the Opacity layer for the Light Waver. An Opacity layer is an image that matches the Texture map in size and layout, but instead of covering the model with an image like the Texture map, the Opacity image controls the transparency of the model. It's kinda like a black and white silhouette, with the brighter parts being more visible and the darker parts being less visible. If you wish transform the Light Waver into a series of objects, for instances, you need make copy of your Texture map, then edit that image so the objects you want seen are solid white, and everything else is solid black. Alternatively, you could use shades of gray for Lightning or Fire effects, allowing parts of the image to become transparent like glass. The brighter the shade of gray, the more solid that part of the image becomes Again, please experiment with your image and it's settings. You'll find there are MANY things you can do with the Light Waver that are completely unlike the example object I've created:

To add sound, I highly recommend you download and use Audacity. It's a free sound editing tool that can export out OGG sound files. OGG sound files compress down to less then 1/10th the file size of WAV files. SO USE OGG FILES!!! You can download it here:
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

Please keep your sound volume levels within acceptable limits. DON'T MAKE YOUR SOUND AS LOUD AS POSSIBLE!!! Loud sounds will annoy other users, and reduce your sales. Also avoid using Looping sounds, as IMVU has no controls to stop Looping sounds once they start playing.
