Among the wreckage of the mysterious spacecraft was a strange grey spherical device suspended on a pillar of energy. It was found to be very very old, older than the ship itself. The function, however, was unclear, until one day when a young scientist rubbed the surface with a rag to shine it. Suddenly, the image of a fearsome man dressed in gold appeared on the sphere. The man frowned and three days later, the planet that had discovered the sphere was destroyed. The secret will always be preserved, for the knowledge that it is a direct communications link to the gods is forbidden.
