This is an historically accurate accessory. It is circa 1100, made and researched by 2 reenactors with numerous degrees in history and the classics. Viking women would NOT have had their head uncovered for everyday activities, they would have worn a coif, a white linen cap. Optional to wear a wimple over it. This cap is a small white linen version that allows part of your hairstyle to peak out from under. **Will not work with all hairstyles, particularly the large poofy ones.
