They arrived on a planet inhabited by monks, who invited the vagabonds to stay with them. They told them about the observatory and the way they lived in it. The vagabonds learned that these monks were a group of different species who spent their lives with meditation about the universe. They all were not born with the gift of technomancy, but decades and sometimes even centuries of studies gave them a certain control over this ability. The monks dedicated their existance to the machine gods, and according to the oldest of them, some monks ascended to become one with the steel blue goddess. When it was time to part, the monks invited the vagabonds to stay and meditate, but they politely refused and continued their odyssee.
