With Spring coming into full bloom you'll now spot Kanzashi that contain Japan’s favorite flower - the Cherry blossom. Cherry Blossom Viewing at this time of year is a major cultural event in Japan and the blossoms themselves are highly revered. Also seen at this time are Silk Butterflies, Mizubiki Butterflies, Silver/Gold butterflies, Bonbori lanterns, and kanzashi consisting of a single silver (or sometimes gold) butterfly (cho) made of mizuhiki cord are common.
