The Derive-A-Staff

(This version is for Female avies Only! The video shows a Male Avie because I'm lazy..)

NOTE: This version is for the FEMALE AVIE ONLY! It will not work with the male avie. Also it replaces the avie's Right Hand, so it won't work with gloves or other weapons that replace the Right Hand. Before you Derive it, make sure you buy the correct version for the you're developing for. Deriving requires a Developer's Account and the Previewer Software. You can find out information for obtaining both on the IMVU Developer's Page.

Don't "Buy It", DERIVE IT!

The Derive-A-Staff is designed to allow you to make Scythes, Long Axes, Pole Arms, Rods, Staffs, or just about anything long and dangerous. It has four large sheets with opacity maps, allowing you to to put blades on up to four sides. Or leave them all black and just make a simple staff out of it. Commands are "Reap", "rp", "Harvest", and "hv".

Like all of my "Derive-A" objects, making your own version is as simple as making a Sticker. Just create an image for all of the blades you want sticking out of the shaft, using my templates below as your guide. Then create a second version of your image, with the blades all white, and the empty areas all black. And you're done!

Also, if you don't like my "Crazy" faces the avie do, you can remove them by simply deleting the Morph files names in each Ensemble. Then add some sound effects, if you want sound effects, and you're all done! Make sure to price your weapon higher then my original, as that will be your profit. You make money, I made money, and everybody gets new weapons to swing around. What a great system!

Here are the templates to get your started:

This is the Color map I used on the Shaft of the Staff (No dirty puns, please!):

This is a sample Color map for one of the 4 sides. You can use a different texture on all 4 sides if you want each side to be unique. Or leave it Black if you don't want a blade on that side:

And this is the sample Cut-Out map. If you don't want there to be blades on any of the 4 sides, just leave this all black:
