As true Scots, the World Famous Royal Scots Dragoon Guards are
not only warriors, they are also musicians and have been at the forefront
of Pipe music since first achieving worldwide fame in 1972 when their
haunting version of "Amazing Grace" rocketed to the top of the charts
all around the world. Since then the band have continued to lead the
way in pipe band music. Their latest album "Journey" topped the classical
music charts in the UK and won album of the year at the 2009 classical BRIT awards.
The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards are Scotland's most senior regiment and her only regular cavalry.
SCOTS 's(as they are known) are a fierce fighting force; disciplined, honourable,
loyal, respectful, and dedicated. They will protect and serve with their lives in any situation. Valour and compassion are what make the SCOTS amongst the honourable.
