Please Note: This is a Silly item and doesn't contain
any more violence then you'd find in a Children's Cartoon.
It falls well inside the criteria for IMVU approval.

Put on a Pointy Hat and work on your Cackle, because it's about to get Witchy Up-In-Here with the Cauldron. This 500lb Cast Iron cooking apperatus is the perfect addition to any Halloween or Evil themed room. It features two seats, one to stir the ladle and one in the soup! Now, where did that Eye of Newt get to?

Like all Furniture items, use the Furniture Controls to copy, move, and rotate the Cauldron around your room. You can copy them as many times you as like from this single purchase. You can also resize them, if you want tiny or massive Cauldrons, but this will also change the size of the avies that use it's "Seats". Hold down Control or Shift when Moving the Cauldron, to get the best placement. If you find parts of the animation losing sync, just click outside the Cauldron and then re-enter to regain sync.

Want to stir Red Lava instead of Green Slime? How about some Witchy sound effects? Well then, get Deriving! Make your own version, and even sell it the catalog for a small markup over my original, and keep the extra profits for yourself! You can express yourself AND earn credits at the same time. How's that for a sweet deal? You'll need a full account on IMVU, as well as a copy of Previewer. You can find out more about Deriving on the IMVU's Education Center. Below is the template you'll need to get started (Right Click and Save As to your computer):

This is the Texture map for Cauldron and the Wood. Use this image to alter the color of your version, or to add minor details. Be aware that the handle uses a chunk of the Cauldron's body:

This is the Wireframe layout for the Cauldron. As mentioned before, the Handles on the sides take up a portion of the Cauldron's body. The texture on the body of the Cauldron also loops around, which is why you only see the shadow of the handles on once, instead of twice:

This is the Texture map for the Spoon:

This is the Wireframe layout for the Spoon:

This is the Texture map for the Fire and Bubbling Slime. Well, actually this is just the texture map for the Slime. The Fire is something of my own creation and it's not available to the public or other developers. In it's place, I've simply marked where the fire should be. To match this image, you'll also need an Opacity layer. Make the layer solid white for the Slime, and the silhouette match the Fire's form on the other side:

To add sound, I highly recommend you download and use Audacity. It's a free sound editing tool that can export out OGG sound files. OGG sound files compress down to less then 1/10th the file size of WAV files. SO USE OGG FILES!!! You can download it here:
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

I'd highly recommend you avoid looping sounds, as there is no way to stop them once they start playing. There is also no localization of the sound, so a simple bubbling sound would pervade an entire room, with no reduction in volume as you get further away. This makes them both ineffective, and potentially very annoying.
