The Celtic knot is a symbol that has a long and varied history, occuring so far back as to have an ambiguous beginning in the distant reaches or early pre-histories. It has also been called the mystic knot as well as the endless knot. When looking upon such beautiful knots we are unable to see the beginning, the knot is indefinite, and represents the infinite, alluding to the human spirit.
