The Basitin are a race of warriors, with an adherence to order, decency and obedience. They live in the Basitin Islands. Twokinds is a popular webcomic created by Tom Fischbach. It was released on October 22, 2003. After originally writing a book, Tom decided to make Twokinds into a webcomic instead because it was a more accessible format to him. The inspiration for the comic was primarily racial discrimination Tom had experienced in his school since the majority of the student's were white.
