The African Mask

Want something worldly AND creepy? Well you'll score on both accounts with the African Mask. This authentic looking wooden mask, inspired by actual African Masks, will look great in any classy room. But you'd be wrong to think it's just a simple wall decoration! Upon command, it will spring into action, assailing the room with it's voodoo magic. This is not a mask to be trifled with!

Type in "Haunt" to send the mask off flying into one of 6 randomly chosen animations. Use several copies to REALLY terrorize the room!

Like all Furniture items, use the Furniture Controls to copy, move, and rotate the African Mask around your room. You can copy them as many times you as like from this single purchase. You can also resize them, if you want tiny or massive Masks. For best effect, use the Copy tool to make several copies and the Move tool to arrange them. Hold down Control or Shift when Moving the Masks, to get the best placement.

Wish the Mask was made out of Stone? How about some sound effects? Well then, buddy, start Deriving! Make your own version, and even sell it the catalog for a small markup over my original, and keep the extra profits for yourself! You can express yourself AND earn credits at the same time. How's that for a sweet deal? You'll need a full account on IMVU, as well as a copy of Previewer. You can find out more about Deriving on the IMVU's Education Center. Below is the template you'll need to get started (Right Click and Save As to your computer):

This is the Texture map used Mask. Use this to modify the color, add detail, or whatever else you want:

This is the Wireframe template for the Mask. This shows you how the skin attaches to the polygon structure. Use this to help guide you in the creation of your custom Texture maps. That little mess you see on the bottom, left of the chin is the back of the Mask:

To add sound, I highly recommend you download and use Audacity. It's a free sound editing tool that can export out OGG sound files. OGG sound files compress down to less then 1/10th the file size of WAV files. SO USE OGG FILES!!! You can download it here:
