Commissioned by the Lacardian government for their Secret Service operatives, the Corvus Combat Shotgun is one of the Sylvan Isle's latest weapon templates. Manufactured specifically with the needs of an LSS operative in mind, the Corvus is a devastating weapon, and sales are heavily restricted due to the nature of the gun. Crafted from polymers and steel, the Corvus model is lightweight and durable, making it an ideal choice for both covert and open-conflict assignments. The Corvus has an elongated barrel, making it hard to bring to bear quickly, but increasing the accuracy of its munitions. Ammunition is fed via high capacity drum magazine, and there is a wide array of munitions available for the Corvus CS. Alongside standard buck shot, the Corvus accommodates slugs, high-explosive shells, fragmentation shells, incendiary shells, subsonic shells, less-than-lethal alternatives such as beanbags and electronic charges, and flares. All munitions aside from buck shot are manufactured exclusively by Sylvan Isle Industries, due to the nature of the Corvus' firing mechanism. While it does accommodate the primitive, powder-driven nature of buck shot shells, all specialized munitions take advantage of the Corvus' mass-driver firing mechanism. Heavily shielded to prevent its electromagnetic field from being tampered with or from affecting nearby electronic equipment, the Corvus' mass-driver ensures that specialized munitions are able to be fired virtually silently, and that the munitions themselves can have more mass than normal, due to the removal of gunpowder. The Corvus is designed with both fully-automatic and single-fire options, but due to its lightweight nature, prolonged automatic fire leads to a considerable reduction in accuracy. --This product brought to you by Sylvan Isle Industries.
