Mercy Brown died of tuberculosis (following the death of her mother and sister) January 17, 1892 in Exeter, Rhode Island. Her brother Edwin became sick not long after and neighbors believed that a deceased family member was responsible. Mother and sisters were exhumed on March 17, 1892 and Mercy was found to be undecayed. Her heart was cut out (and found to contain fresh blood), burned, and mixed with water which was given to her brother as a cure. He died two months later. I have seen her grave, this is made from actual photos...(You are buying just the stone, you need to provide your own graveyard)
