Hell House Broken Cross, derived for my Halloween-themed Hell House in the Mist haunted house. It has one sitting node.
[FLAVOR TEXT:] "What are friends for?" you mutter to yourself cynically to push your tears and terror away. You and your friends were warned by a local farmer, and you tried to convince your stubborn buddies to go back once you eyes on the house... and this is the consequence of their impudence. So, once your buddies start dying like horseflies, who gets the job of burying them on the backyard? Who else but you, since the others are too scared to do anything? The earth close to the stone markers seem to be softer than the rest of the property, so you set to do your grim task there.
Of all the time-worn grave markers, the only one broken is a very solid-looking, cross-shaped piece of granite. There is no sign that it was slowly chiped away... instead, it's as if some gigantic hand has slapped the monument, breaking it at the base. It would require some tremendous force, and tremendous hate, to desecrate a tomb like that...
