| This is a sticker for those who enjoy the Fishdom game. I play it for fun because it's a simple game yet with layers (or, levels ;) . Below are some tips that I can share with you. | Tip #1 | Dont buy coins with imvu credits (LOL, I am sure IMVU will disable this product if they see this tip, but seriously, if you have money to spend, go ahead and buy lots of Fishdom cash with IMUV credits. It's just more fun and challenging to do it without real money, IMHO) |
| Tip #2 | Visit your firend's tank often. For a new tank you get hundreds of coins the first time you visit (so send out more invites to you friends; or beg them to just create an empty tank will help lol); you can pick up coins once a day; you get to clean their tank if dirty (the dirtier the more xp you get, more xp = quicker leveling). Plus sometime you get to "help" in various situations which will give you more xp |

Grow and sell fish. The best way to earn coins and gain experiences (xp) is to grow and sell fish. You also gain xp by feeding them. Fish buying/feeding/growing/selling. This is the most important thing for leveling up in IMVU Fishdom. These are some observations I have so far. 1) The cheaper the fish the quicker they will grow to become adults; but the fewer xp and coins you get when you sell them. 2) When you browse the fish category, it will tell you how long/soon they will grow. It take 5 cycles of that growth period for a fish to become an adult (see chart below). For example, Helfrich's Firefish (the cheapest, costs only 26 coins) takes only 5 min to grow, thus it will become an adult after 25 min and worth 5xp and 58 coins when you sell them. Not much profit and you have to feed them constantly or they will stop growing. More expensive fish take longer to grow each cycle but you don’t have to feed them all the time. Although you won’t be able to sell them with good profits soon either. But believe it or not, profit per hour rate is lower with more expensive fish (see chart below). This means that if you have time to waste, sit in front of computer all the day and raise Firefish. They'll become adults in 25 min and you get 160 coins per fish. If you do this non-stop, you'll earn 384 coins per hour per fish. But if you raise the most expensive Lionfish, sure you'll earn 4750 coins per fish, but that's after 10 days!! If you keep raising Firefish nonstop for 10 days you will earn 38400 coins per fish! But who in the right mind has the time to sit in front of the computer non-stop for 10 days lol. So the bottom line is in between those two kind of fish and it depends on your own schedule. For example if I come home in the evening I may choose to raise Butterflyfish, which will grow to adult in 2.5 hours (and yes you have to feed them every 30 min) and you get some quick cash by end of evening. Before going to bed, raise some Clownfish, which will grow to 1 stage overnight. So it all depends on how much time and how often you can feed them. |
| Tip #4 | Upgrade your tank. More fish = more coins and xp and quicker leveling. I would try to save 5000 coins early in the game and upgrade to the 8-fish tank. You can upgrade up to a total of 4 tanks for a maximal of 48 fish. See chart below for the profits you can get with different number of fish. |
