The Masked Head
(This Version is for Male Avies Only)

This item isn't made for users, it's for Derivers! It's a IMVU Avie's head nested inside an Avie's head, each with an Opacity layer. What can you do with that? Man, What Can't You Do with It?! First off, you can cut the avie's head into pieces, for cool floating masks, or just add line shaped holes to show moving energy beneath on the second head. But why just talk about examples? Check out the shot above for just a brief glance at the hundreds of ways you can use this item to make the craziest avie heads imaginable! Here's how I did those examples:

This is the Texture map I used for the Robotic looking head. As you can see, it's just a few tweaks on the IMVU Avie face:

This is the Opacity layer I made for the Robotic head. It's just a few black holes in an otherwise solid, white background. The holes allow the energy pattern to show through:

This is the Energy pattern you see under the Robotic Head. As you can see, it's simply a few lines, with which I used a scrolling animation to slowly move under the "Top" head:

The Opacity image for the Energy pattern is just solid white, because it's not suppose to be see through. As such, I haven't included a sample here, as you wouldn't see it if I did. (lol)

Here's the Texture map I used for the Floating Mask head:

This is the Opacity for the Floating Mask head:

This is the Opacity for the Sparks that float under the mask. There is no example of the Texture for the Sparks, as it's a solid white image:

To remove the Eyes, I replaced the Eye texture with a "Nothing" texture, which is just two tiny black images that make the eyes invisible. The Robotic head uses the IMVU Avie Eyes, so they are changeable by users. Use the Robotic version if you want Eyes, and use the Floating Mask version if you don't.

But please don't let my examples limit your imagination! Just by changing the Opacity and Texture maps for the Top and Bottom heads you can create an almost limitless number of wild new looks for all occasions! The Masked Head is also available for Women, as are Masked Bodies for each . The Masked head doesn't remove hair, so you'll need a Bald hair-do included (This is my SUPER Cheap one here: Cheap Bald Head for Men ), or use a "Nothing" mesh to replace the Hair Body Part.

Here's a link to a Photoshop file of the Default Male Avie's Head from IMVU (the 010° version). It'll show you the Wireframe layout for the Avie's head and should give you enough information to start with. The Top and Bottom Heads both use the same mapping: Male01_Anime01_Tops_skin_010degrees.zip

To add sound, I highly recommend you download and use Audacity. It's a free sound editing tool that can export out OGG sound files. OGG sound files compress down to less then 1/10th the file size of WAV files. SO USE OGG FILES!!! You can download it here:
