The Villain Armor
(This armor can fit women but was designed for men)

Need a suit of armor that is as dangerous to the user as it is to anyone else? Seems unlikely, but just in case you do, here's the Villain Armor! This suit is studded with dozens of spikes, horns, and blades. If you want something slightly less absurd, derive it, as each and every pointy item is removable through masking. Or just enjoy it's over-the-top nature as it is, you PSYCHO!

PLEASE NOTE: This item can be used with both Male and Female avies, but is found under Male Accessories. It's designed with the default Male Avie's limbs in mind, so it might not fit more muscular body frames. It's a bit loose on the Female avie. Clothing will likely cause overlap parts of the armor, so try to use with tight fitting outfits. It replaces avie body channel 85. Extremely few items use that body channel, but if they do, they will either remove this item or force this item to removed. If you find the armor vanishing well changing outfits, it might be because of this conflict. Please use "Try It" before then "Buy It", to ensure it works with your wardrobe.

---------------------------- Deriving Section --------------------------

Wish the Armor had less spikes? No Blades? Or was COVERED IN BLOOD?! (gross) Well then, get to work and DERIVE it! Make your own version, and even sell it the catalog for a small markup over my original, and keep the extra profits for yourself! You can express yourself AND earn credits at the same time. How's that for a sweet deal? You'll need a full account on IMVU, as well as a copy of Previewer. You can find out more about Deriving on the IMVU's Education Center. Here are the templates you'll need below:

This is the actual Texture map used for the Armor's Base. Use this to make simple changes, like color:

There is an Opacity layer for the Armor's Base, but it's not shown here as it's solid White. An Opacity image is like a Black and White silhouette, which tells the computer which parts of the image should be visible, and which should not. Basically, the darker the image becomes, the less of the model is visible. You can use gray to make things glass-like, but due to errors in IMVU's handing of transparency, you might see other strange graphic glitches. It's best to stick to solid white and black. The purpose of the Opacity layer on this item is to allow you to remove parts. Use the Wireframe template below to paint what you don't want to see solid Black, causing that part to vanish!

This is the Wireframe layout for the Armor's Base. This shows you exactly how the Texture map adheres to the structure of the model. You'll need this if you want to create a completely new Texture from scratch:

Here's a color coded reference guide for where the following Blade and Horn elements go:

There is an Opacity layer for the Horns, but it's solid White. Use the Wireframe layout image and the above color guide if you wish to remove some of the Horns, or replacing the Opacity layer with solid Black if you want them all removed.

You shouldn't need to add audio, but if you do, I highly recommend you download and use Audacity. It's a free sound editing tool that can export out OGG sound files. OGG sound files compress down to less then 1/10th the file size of WAV files. SO USE OGG FILES!!! You can download it here:
https://www.audacityteam.org/download

Please keep your sound volume levels within acceptable limits. DON'T MAKE YOUR SOUND AS LOUD AS POSSIBLE!!! Loud sounds will annoy other users, and reduce your sales. Also avoid using Looping sounds, as IMVU has no controls to stop Looping sounds once they start playing.
