The Rooster Prop

It's a chicken. Why would you want a pet chicken? I don't know. But some people seem to be into that and I'm not here to judge them. I am here to take their money. If you are one of "THOSE" people, who like pet chickens or just can't get enough of the farm life, this should satisfy your weird, chicken-based needs.

Personally, I like my chicken with salt and garlic.

Commands:
OMG (or fox) - Chicken runs around crazy, as chickens are known to do

Like all Furniture items, you can use the Furniture Controls to copy, move, scale, and rotate this item as much as you desire. Once you own one, you can use it as many times as you like, in every room you own, and place as many copies as you see fit, as well as scale and rotate it to suit your needs. You can not place furniture items in rooms you do not own.

---------------------------- Deriving Section --------------------------

Prefer a black rooster? Hens? One made out of SOLID GOLD!? Well then, buddy, start Deriving! Make your own version, and even sell it the catalog for a small markup over my original, and keep the extra profits for yourself! You can express yourself AND earn credits at the same time. How's that for a sweet deal? You'll need a full account on IMVU, as well as a copy of Previewer. You can find out more about Deriving on the IMVU's Education Center. Below is the template you'll need to get started (Right Click and Save As to your computer):

This is the actual Texture map used on the Body of the Chicken. The image mirrors the right and left, so avoid using things that look strange backwards, like numbers or text. Use this image for simple changes, like color:

This is the Wireframe Template for the Body of the Chicken. This shows you exactly how the Texture map adheres to the structure of the model. You'll need this if you want to create a completely new Texture map. If you do alter the image be aware that the blinking eye requires the eye image to be roughly the same size and shape as this Texture template above:

This is the Texture map for the Wings. The left section is for the underside of the Wings, and the right is the top. Like the Body, this image is mirrored on the other side, so avoid anything that would look strange if backwards:

This is the Opacity layer for the Wings. An Opacity image is like a Black and White silhouette, which tells the computer which parts of the image should be visible, and which should not. Basically, the darker the image becomes, the less of the model is visible. You can use gray to make things glass-like, but due to errors in IMVU's handing of transparency, you might see other strange graphic glitches. It's best to stick to solid white and black. Remember that this image MUST be a silhouette of your new Texture. Always stay with in the limits of the boxes shown on the Wireframe Template:

To add sound, I highly recommend you download and use Audacity. It's a free sound editing tool that can export out OGG sound files. OGG sound files compress down to less then 1/10th the file size of WAV files. SO USE OGG FILES!!! You can download it here:
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

Also avoid looping sounds, as they tend to get annoying to listen to very quickly. Try to keep your volume levels low as well, as IMVU tends to over-amplify all audio playback to near ear-bleeding levels.
