V2 - 6 standing spots,
Perfect for adding your own poses and furniture.

This is a Small, lightweight Photo Room with dramatic lighting - a perfect six-sided cube, kept small to give the best resolution possible for your textures.

6 built-in standing spots all facing towards the front down the center of the room so that you can find the right spot for the lighting effect you are looking for.

If you do want to add furniture, there are tons of furniture nodes on the floor, walls, and ceiling. Add your own standing spots turned different ways to take advantage of the lighting.

Textures:

Use 512x512 (or smaller) square textures for the six sides, just like an avatar profile cube.
The low weight of the room will allow you to use higher resolution textures.
The color of the textures may affect the lighting depending on your settings.

Lighting and Fog:

The built-in light is low and to the left side of the avatar (the right side for the viewer).

To change the ambient lighting, use the Config tab in Classic or the Environment tab in Studio.
Enter numbers between 0 and 255 for each the Red, Green, and Blue.
The lower the numbers, the darker the lighting. For shades of gray, set all three to be the same number.
Local Ambient (in Studio) will cause the light to reflect on the avatar and will be mixed in with nearby room texture colors. It creates a darker and more dramatic look on the avatar. If you want the avatar to show more brightly, turn off the Local Ambient setting.

The fog configuration can also be set to an RGB color. Due to the smallness of the room, the numbers for Near and Distant will be different than for a big room. This is because some of the parameters have to do with distance from walls and since the walls are so close together, the fog settings can be unpredictable. You can get silhouette effects or other dramatic effects by playing with each number. Keep the numbers low for this small room.
Near Distance is like how close the fog is closed in around you.
Far Distance is how far you can zoom out before the room is completely engulfed in fog.

Animation:

If you want to animate the sides, you will need to animate each texture separately.

Choose a scrolling animation (unless you know what you are doing).

Start with a 1 in X and a 0 in Y for 1 or all six sides, to see what it looks like.

A negative number reverses the direction.

You can make the animation slower by using a number less than 1, like .5.

A number greater than 1 will make a faster animation.

You can make it scroll vertically using the Y instead of X, or even diagonally by using both X and Y.

 Enjoy!
