Some of the undead, after centuries of experimentation and exercise of sheer willpower, have developed the ability to alter their own bodies in a variety of ways from ornamental to functional. By changing and reshaping their own skeletal structure, the undead can form weapons capable of causing grievous harm to an opponent... ...or victim.

These new retractable claws are designed with a more organic feel and will work well with other similarly textured horns, spikes or claws.
