A Poem I wrote for NLNT !
I never knew there would be a better tomorrow
But you've come into my life and taken away all my sorrow
My days of sadness are a thing of the past
Because I have found true love at last
My days of emptiness are gone for good
Because you fill a void in my heart that you should
You've opened a window
You've shown me the light
And my love for you will continue to burn bright.
Even though we fight and have our disagreements
My love for you is forever endless
No matter what you think or say
It is only you that I want to stay.
We have gone through so much, over the past year,
I would not change or give any of it up my lovely dear
For you truly make me happy, happier than I thought I could be,
As I stand Gazing at the stars on a dark cold sunday night
Uttering sweet words beneath the beautiful pale moonlight
I wish you can see, I wish you can hear
I wish you can kiss, and hold me tight
As I close my eyes and shed those tears
Thinking about how far you are from me
Then I look high above and see the stars
How they light, they glitter and sparkle
Despite how far they are from my sight
I find myself smiling as I realize
That though the distance between us
Has Kept us apart but only in body
And never in our heart
You gave me a reason to smile
You gave me a reason to hope
You gave me so much
I can never ask for more
And if I have one thing to thank right now
That's when you walked into my life!
Hun you are more than what you give your self credit for You are beautiful, gorgeous, full of love and kindness and so much more You are a very special and loving person, There is nothing I want more than to be with you and have you as my wife
